For giving false statements in newspapers, Tanushree Dutta is going to take legal action against Raqeeb producer Raj Kanwar. Raj Kanwar said that Tanushree Dutta did love making scenes in the movie but in reality, Tanushree did not do such scenes.

Because of these false statements, Tanushree Dutta’s image will tarnish in the film industry.

Re: The misleading statements given by you in leading newspapers with regard to film RAQEEB therein stating that I have done hot bedroom and kissing scenes

Dear Raj Kanwarji,

I am deeply hurt to write to you that the misleading and absolutely false statements given by you in all leading newspapers are surely going to tarnish my image in the film industry. You are fully aware that I have not performed any such scenes for your film which can in any manner whatsoever be considered as a bold scene, a hot bedroom scene, or a kissing scene. I therefore fail to understand, as to why are you giving such false statements and seeking to promote your film on the basis of such falsehood.

As the statements given by you in the newspapers on different occasions are very specific quotes, I am therefore constrained to believe that you may have probably without my knowledge, shot some scenes with a body double or with a look alike and on the basis of such scenes I feel that you may be trying to promote your film. Do note that I am forced to think like this only because of the specific quotes given by you in the newspapers.

It is not Tanushree Dutta who is facing this kind of problem. Same allegations were made by Manisha Koirala against the movie Ek Chhoti Si Love Story. In the movie, there were bed scenes which Manisha did not do but her body double was used. She tried to stop the release of the movie.

Love making scenes and kissing scenes are a taboo thing in Indian cinema. Normally, it is said that film makers do those scenes because they are the part of the story but neither Bollywood actors and actresses nor ordinary people are comfortable with love making scenes and kissing scenes in Hindi movies. However, this same audience enjoys Hollywood movies that contain such scenes and do not object. I do not know what is the psychology behind this. If love making scenes makes people awkward then it should be strictly prohibited both for Bollywood movies and Hollywood movies which will be shown in India.
