Raqeeb is not doing so well in the box office. In fact, it is a very ordinary movie and it has hardly any chance of earning a lot of money. So, the journalists are enjoying to write about the problem between Tanushree Dutta and Raj Kanwar than about the movie itself.
Now, Raj Kanwar has come forward and has given his reaction in which he has slammed Tanushree Dutta as “unprofessional”.
Times of India reported:
The nail in the coffin was when Tanushree accused Kanwar of using a body double for her scenes in the film.
Raj Kanwar says, "She seems to have some problem with her role. People who have seen the film have even told me that it’s her best role till date. Such roles are a rarity. She is so unprofessional."
Taking about being miffed with Tanushree, he says, "I am very upset with her. I am surprised that she accused me of using a body double in the film. Now the film is out and everyone knows what the truth is. She knew that her role was very good. We had a great working relationship. I had her in mind for my next film which I was directing and I have
scrapped the 3-film contract that we had signed last year.”
Tanushree Dutta is not silent either. She has promised not to work with Raj Kanwar anymore.
I am surprised that no one is trying to put an end to the problem. There should be some kind of regulatory body in Bollywood to tackle this kind of problem.
