India’s batting talent Sachin Tendulkar has entered in the list of top 20 test batsmen according to the latest ranking of LG ICC Test Ranking. Having finished a successful series against Bangladesh, Sachin’s place in the ranking has risen by six places to stand in no. 15. In the Test series against Bangladesh, Sachin Tendulkar could score 254 runs at an average of 127 scoring a century in each of the two test matches.

Ricky Ponting is in no. 1 position followed by Mohammad Yousuf and Kevin Pietersen in no. 2 and no. 3 respectively. On the other hand, in the bowlers’ ranking, Anil Kumble stands in the third place along with Shaun Pollock. Muttiah Muralitharan stands at no. 1 among the bowlers and Makhaya Ntini is in the second spot.
