Shahrukh Khan or Shah Rukh Khan?

I have a lot of confusion about this. I am not sure which one is correct- Shahrukh Khan or Shah Rukh Khan? In Wikipedia, I can see his name is written as Shah Rukh Khan in the title of the article about him while in the rest of the article, it is Shahrukh Khan.

If you search with the keyword “Shah Rukh Khan” it will reply, “Did you mean: shahrukh khan”.

In IMDB, it is Shahrukh Khan. However, ApunKaChoice.Com seems to like the spelling of Shah Rukh Khan. The same goes for Bollyvista.

The list may continue for sometime. I am not an expert on Shahrukh Khan. However, I am interested about him because he is one of the top brand names in India. For example, in 2006, Shah Rukh Khan’s advertisements occupied 650 hours of television airtime. So, you see that he is more than a Bollywood actor.

I am a big fan of Shahrukh Khan. He worked extremely hard to come to the position he is in today. He is a self made successful man. He is not a good actor only but also he understands business. That is why, I like to write about him in the next few days in this blog. If you are a fan of Shahrukh Khan then visit this blog regularly from now.

Well, I think I can help you on this. From childhood SRK writes his name as Shah Rukh Khan. You can check his signature where he writes like this. So naturally it's the right spelling. That's why in the films with his closer persons they write his name as Shah Rukh Khan. But media normally write his name as Shahrukh Khan, which is not correct, but SRK never really protested it and let people use whatever they want. So people use both the spellings. But the right one is Shah Rukh Khan.

It's possible that originally this name was spelt in one word, but apparently in High School, Shah Rukh started spelling it with 2 words. Shah Rukh ALWAYS signs his autograph as SHAH RUKH, so that's good enough for me...why can't everybody get it right? this is something that bugs me no end!!

Shah Rukh has always been known as SRK...if it was Shahrukh, he would be just another "SK" (spelling-wise, not famous-wise) After all, please remember it's SHAH RUKH KHAN...3 little words, one VERY BIG NAME!
