It is unbelievable for me. Today, when I woke up and checked the Sitemeter of this blog, I found that in April 2007 (last month), this blog (SouthAsiaBiz) had 340,000 page views. In March, the blog had nearly 150,000 page views. So, in just one month, we had an increase of 190,000 page views.

Of course, the main credit goes to my co-blogger, Mehdi Hassan. He did all the research and covered the wedding ceremony of Aishwarya Bachchan (Rai) and Abhishek Bachchan. We tried to cover a buzz topic in South Asia and it paid off. Well, many websites and blogs covered this topic too. So, it was a tough battle to get into the first page of search engine results. The good thing is that those people who came to SouthAsiaBiz through Google search read more than one pages. That is why our unique visitors in April were just 140,000 but we had 340,000 pageviews. So, on an average, every visitor read 2.42 pages.
