Spider-Man 3 is going to exceed Spider-Man 1&2 in terms of profit margin
Yesterday, Spider-Man has been released in USA, India, and various other countries around the world. On 1st May, the movie has opened in sixteen countries. The good thing is that the movie has collected $29.2 million on its opening day and it is going to make more money than the previous two Spider-Man movies.

Stuff.co.nz reports:

First-day sales in those markets, which include Japan, South Korea, Germany and France, totaled $US29.2 million, ($NZ39.6 million) the Sony Corp-owned studio said on Wednesday.

In every case, the new film outperformed its predecessors, and set industry records in 10 of them. On a comparable basis, Spider-Man 2 opened to $US15.6 million in 2004 in those markets, while Spider-Man bowed to $US10.6 million in 2002.

With a budget of $US258 million, according to Columbia - or upward of $US350 million, if the Hollywood gossip machine is to be believed - Spider-Man 3 reunites stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst with director Sam Raimi.

As is often the case with superhero sequels, the action is a little darker. Some influential critics were not overly enthusiastic. The Los Angeles Times said the film possessed "an ungainly, cumbersome feeling." The Times of London described it as "a daft, highly polished couple of hours of fantasy fun."

Sony Pictures vice chairman Jeff Blake said that everywhere they have got a overwhelming response. It is the biggest spiderman ever he said.

Spider-Man 3

What makes Spiderman special? Well, the CGI effects, the action, the villains, every thing is great in this movie. However, the most important thing is that spiderman is such a person whom people can easily relate to. He is a very ordinary guy who has fallen in love with his next door neighbour. Yet, he has a great heart. That is why SPIDY RULZ!!
