Spider-Man 3: The Video Game

Releasing games based on the movies has become a trend among Hollywood film makers. It is part of the business. Spider-Man has its games with its previous version. This time, along with Spider- Man 3, a new version has been developed.

One of the major features of this game is that the Manhattan city has been designed in a bigger and better way for the gamers to explore. USA Today reports:

Various missions pit players against crime mobs and villains such as the Green Goblin, Sandman and Scorpion. Web-swinging speed trials earn rewards (an early one has you speeding Mary Jane through the city to an appointment). Players can also break from the script and just explore simulated New York, swinging along skyscrapers in the massive cityscape. The webslinger's point of view almost creates a feeling of vertigo on a big screen TV. Spider-Man must stay focused enough on crime-fighting, however, or it will affect the city's opinion of him.

"We now have the largest Manhattan ever created for a Spider-Man game. This allows players an unprecedented amount of choice and control, an all-new combat system, with a focus on new aerial moves, combos, counterattacks, and a greater emphasis on web attacks and combos," says Chris Archer, executive producer of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 games for Treyarch. The game developer, acquired by publisher Activision, has worked on the previous Spider-Man movie-based games. Each has been a top-seller.

The game is due next month for the Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and PS2, as well as Windows PCs (prices range from $40-$60, rated 'T' for teens with animated blood, mild language and violence; an all ages version will be available for the Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance and Sony PlayStation Portable systems, $30-$40.)

Spider-Man 3 Game

The actors of Spider- Man 3 movie have given their voices in the game. Along with the film actors, Bruce Campbel lent his voice. Like the movie, the players will also see Spider-Man in black suit. If the players play for a long time then Spider-Man appears with a black suit which gives him more power and more energy. You can visit this link to see some of the screen shots of the new game.
