Beauty secret: Uses lots of moisturizer and taking balanced food. Rani does not eat junk food or colas. She only takes coconut water or lemon water. Most of the time she takes home cooked food like rice, salad etc.  

Rani Mukherjee is a trained Orissi dancer. She started to learn dancing when she was in tenth grade.     

She changed her name from “Mukherjee” to “Mukerji” because in her passport it has been written “Mukerji.” So, in order to be consistent she changed it. 

In 2005, an audience of 50000 honored Rani Mukherjee at the Casablanca Film Festival in Morocco.

Rani Mukherjee was invited to the dinner in honor of the President of Pakistan Parvez Musharraf. 

In 2007, Rani Mukherjee performed at the wedding ceremony of the daughter of Lakshmi Mittal, the London-based Indian billionaire industrialist.

Rani Mukherjee also performed in the 2006 Commonwealth Games. For her three minute performance she was paid Rs. 1.5 million.
