Roger Federer is one of the players that I really admire a lot. He is a very good tennis player too. Federer is the most dominant male tennis player of our time. He has won Wimbledon Titles for the last four years. His record in US Open is very impressive too. He has the title of Australian Open thrice.
It seems that French Open is the Achilles’ heel of Roger Federer. Today, he again lost to Rafael Nadal in the final like last year. So, that means that Roger Federer came very close to have the Grand Slam but did not get it in the end.

IHT reported:
Roger Federer's bid to complete a career Grand Slam was foiled again Sunday by nemesis Rafael Nadal at the French Open.
Nadal earned his third Roland Garros title in a row, beating Federer 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in a final in which the Spaniard lost serve only once.
For the third consecutive year in
Paris, the top-ranked Federer sought to become the sixth man to win all four Grand Slam events. Nadal beat him in the semifinals in 2005, and in the final last year. The latest loss also spoiled Federer's bid to win a fourth consecutive major title, something last done by Rod Laver in 1969.
Poor Federer! He feels terrible now and I am sure that he will find it difficult to have some good night sleep tonight. Well, my only advice for Federer is that he should practice more on clay court and be prepared for French Open 2008 from now.
This defeat in no way lessens the greatness of Federer. If you are interested to know more about him then you can read this detailed biography:
