India and Pakistan are going to face each other after a long time on 3 July 2007. India and Pakistan matches means having a lot of excitement among the fans. The recently held World Cup Cricket 2007 was disappointing for both India and Pakistan as both the teams experienced an early exit. Now, India is playing against South Africa in a 3 match ODI series.

I think, for India, batting is the strong side compared to their inexperienced bowling side. Almost all the bowlers who are now in the team have little experience of playing ODI matches. Indian batting line up including Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh, Dhoni has the capability to destroy any bowling attack in their day. Yuvraj and Dhoni bring a perfect balance in the middle order of the Indian batting line up. Yuvraj can play according to the situation whereas Dhoni plays an important role with his hard hitting style.

If batting is the hope then bowling is the weak side of the Indian team against Pakistan. It is a matter of sorrow that India has set out for a long journey with a very young and inexperience bowling side. I think Harbhajan Singh should have been included for such a long tour in British peninsula. Except Zaheer Khan and Ajit Agarkar there is no specialist bowler in the ODI squad who has played more than 22 matches. So, I can not be optimistic about the success of Indian team against Pakistan in Scotland unless the Indian batsmen can do something extraordinary in the match.
