It seems that some people in India are desperate to either destroy Indian cricket or have absolute dominance over it. BCCI is the richest cricket board in the world. So, being the coach of Indian cricket team should be the most attractive job in terms of money and popularity. However, it seems that the post of Indian cricket coach is a cursed one and BCCI officials have no ability to find a decent person for the post.

Just a few days, Dav Whatmore was considered to be the hot favorite for this post. All of a sudden, some so called experts in BCCI reached into this conclusion that Dav Whatmore was not good for Team India! These so called experts did not enlighten the fans or the media the rationale behind their decision.

Then, these experts reached into decision that Graham Ford was the right man for India. Graham Ford accepted first and then declined to take the job. Again, we do not know the reason behind such a dramatic u-turn from Mr. Ford.

It is now known that Ford was offered a substantially lower amount than his predecessor, and the term of the contract was to be an unreasonable one year, but it is a moot point whether these were the only factors in his (or Emburey's) snub. 

Perhaps it was just the unholy rigmarole that put them off, because currently Indian cricket seemed to be infested with jokers and knaves. That is enough to scare off the boldest.

After few hours, BCCI bosses will meet to decide what to do next. I wonder if the so called experts can find a better man than Dav Whatmore?
