Shilpa Shetty has recently launched a perfume (S2) by her name. Since Shilpa won the Celebrity Big Brother, a UK based reality television show, earlier this year; she has been in the headlines of the newspapers and British media. Recently, she danced in IIFA award giving ceremony in Yorkshire, England.

So, the year 2007 seems to be very eventful for this actress. Now, her perfume is in the market. There are a few celebrities in the west who have launched perfumes by their name. Shilpa Shetty now has joined to this exclusive and elegant club.

The New Zealand Herald reported:

Shetty told Reuters at the launch that she believed her perfume would be successful because of its unusual jasmine-scented "ethnic feel".

"It is something that is very synonymous with me and jasmine is very common in India, it's very difficult to find abroad, but the scent of jasmine is very long lasting and if you like it, you love it."

Well, Shilpa Shetty is not the biggest movie star in India but she has rose to stardom in international level due to some of the incidents of the year 2007. However, her rising popularity could not help her recent movie ‘Metro’ to be successful in the box office.
