She is out of the singles event in Wimbledon 2007 and it is perhaps a matter of time that Sania Mirza embraces the same bad fortune in the doubles event too.
What has happened to Sania? I feel that she has basically two problems. She wants to portray herself as a glamorous and fashionable star and she can see that this image brings good money for her through advertisement and sponsorship. On the other hand, she is young and bold and not afraid of creating any controversy.

Can she temper her outrageous talent and go beyond the second, third rounds? She probably can: but only if she is willing to make the sacrifices; only if her life begins and ends with tennis.
Sania might do well to go back to the day when the mania began; that is the only way she will understand her true potential as a champion. First, she mesmerised the country by matching strokes with Serena Williams in the Australian Open; then, she won over the world with her devastating game at
Wimbledon ; by the time she hit the US Open, she had become a star.
I wish that she just focuses on her game and forgets everything. She is still very young and she can earn a lot of money in future. She can also become a politician and fights with controversies some day but she should use her every moment now for improving her game.
