
It was earlier reported that star off spinner Muttiah Muralitharan would not be able to participate in the upcoming Twenty20 World Championship 2007. Sri Lankan spinner Muralitharan felt strain in his right bicep during a county match. It was initially thought the Muralitharan would have to go off the field for sour or six weeks. However, the recent news is that his participation in Twenty20 world cup will be decided after he comes back in

"We got the results back today from Leeds and basically it is just showing some inflammation around the bicep,'' Sam Byrne, the
Lancashire physio, told PA. "We're sending the scans back with Murali toand they'll manage it and constantly reassess it over the next week.'' Sri Lanka
So, Sri Lankan fans can still hope to see their star spinner in Twenty20 world cup 2007. It is natural that his absence will create problem in Sri Lankan bowling line up. So, the only thing fans can do now is to pray for Muttiah Muralitharan so that he becomes fit before the start of Twenty20 world cup 2007.
