Bishen Bedi is one of the top spin bowlers of all time. He played for India and he captured 266 wickets in 67 Test Matches. Naturally, it is a very impressive record. Bishan Singh Bedi also captured 1560 wickets in first class cricket. I don’t know why Bishen Bedi has become jealous of Muttiah Muralitharan and saying nonsense thing about him. Australians have complained against Muttiah Muralitharan and some other countries are afraid of him too. However, Indian and Pakistani players never complained against Muttiah Muralitharan because they are good against spin bowling.

Bedi is a long-time critic of Muralitharan and has a history of undermining his achievements.

Last week he compared him to a 'shot-putter', prompting Muralitharan to demand monetary damages for the derogatory remarks.

Bedi is ready to face Muralitharan a courtroom legal battle, and has now taken aim at the ICC for allowing the Sri Lankan to continue with his controversial bowling action.

"It's not poor Murali's fault," Bedi was quoted as saying in the Times of India.

I don’t agree with Bedi at all. First of all, ICC experts carried out tests on Muralitharan for some time and then they cleared him. Muralitharan is not the only bowler with this kind of problem. We have seen some other bowlers too and ICC helped them.
