Twnety20 cricket is not helpful for spin bowlers. I am afraid that if Twenty20 becomes very popular then the art of spin bowling will suffer a lot of harm. In a Twenty20 match, a team has ten wickets to spare in just 20 overs. So, naturally, batsmen take a lot of risk and spin bowlers may suffer.

I found a list of top ten spin bowlers who may shine in the upcoming Twenty20 World Championship 2007. The spin bowlers are:

1. Monty Panesar (England)

2. Harbhajan Singh (India)

3. Daniel Vettori (New Zealand)

4. Brad Hogg (Australia)

5. Mohammad Rafique (Bangladesh)

6. Danish Kaneria (Pakistan)

7. Abdur Razzak (Bangladesh)

8. Anil Kumble (India)

9. Ramesh Power (India)

10. Sakibul Hasan (Bangladesh)

I don’t agree with this list at all. Where is Muttiah Muralitharan? There is not a single spinner from Sri Lanka in this list. What is your idea about this list?
