Bangladesh team came up with two upsets in the last ICC world cup. First they defeated Indian and then in the super eight round, South Africa was their victim. Interestingly, Bangladesh and South Africa will play in the same group in the upcoming Twenty20 world cup 2007. Bangladesh will try to cause some more upsets in Twenty20 World Championship 2007.

Bangladesh has some young but promising cricketers who will be vital for the opponents. They have a number of hard hitters including opener Tamim Iqbal, Mohammad Ashraful, Mashrafe Mortaza and Aftab Ahmed are well known for their big hits. Especially Tamim has sheer talent to attack any bowling line up. However, Alok Kapali is in top form at this moment and he played very well in domestic Twenty20 cricket.
