Today, earlier I wrote about the Indian squad for Twenty20 World Championship 2007. Pakistani selectors have also announced their squad for Twenty20 World Cup 2007. Three notable names have been excluded and they are Mohammad Yousuf, Abdul Razzaq and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan.

The players of Pakistan Squad are:

Shoaib Malik (captain), Salman Butt, Imran Nazir, Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, Fawad Alam, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Asif, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gul, Rao Iftikhar, Yasir Arafat, Abdul Rehman.

For Pakistan, Shahid Afridi can play an important role in Twenty20 World Cup Cricket. He is a hard hitter and he can also bowl. However, I am disappointed at the exclusion of Razzaq. He is a very experienced player.
