India vs Australia: Pressure of Captaincy on Dhoni?
Tomorrow, India and Australia are going to take part in the first match of the ODI series. This ODI series is very important for both the teams. For Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the match has added significance. This is the first time that Dhoni will lead the Indian team in an ODI match as a captain. We have seen some players in the past to suffer from the pressure of captaincy. Sachin Tendulkar is the best example in this regard. M S Dhoni feels that he is not suffering from this kind of pressure.

Cricinfo wrote:

Dhoni epitomises the maxim that you have to enjoy cricket and enjoy life, especially when the chips are down. He also epitomises a new breed of youth whose hunger is unbridled, and whose confidence stems from competition. He motivates himself, and that's crucial. When he went through a slump he fought the pressure and hit back, and was later handed the captaincy of the Twenty20 and ODI sides. Dhoni admitted during and after India's run at the Twenty20 that there was no pressure on his side, as no one had expected them to do much anyway. But now, back home in front of a public whetted by India's success in South Africa, in his first game as ODI captain, with the Test captain soon to be announced, and up against the best one-day side in the world, did he change his mind? No came the emphatic answer, with a big grin and a spread of the arms. "I am not under any pressure."
Now, Indian fans are very happy with the way things are going. However, if India loses 2-3 ODI matches against Australia then things will change. Dhoni will come under pressure from the media and the fans.

captaincy is always makes pressure to one. but dhoni looked so cool, steady and fresh minded during the twenty20.

Yes, Dhoni is now under pressure as India lost the second and third ODI matches of the series. However, he has the talent to become a good captain.
