For this movie, Hrithik learned sword fighting in Mehboob Studio in Mumbai. He appeared in war scenes riding on elephant. While shooting a sword fighting scene with Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik got injured. This time also, it was a minor injury and after sometime the shooting resumed. Akbarjodha.net reports:
The two stars were filming a scene in which they had to fight each other with swords.
Sources are quoted as saying that there was a slight lapse of timing in the swordfight scene and Hrithik ended up getting injured by Ash’s sword.
However, Hrithik did not let the injury keep him from shooting further. The spunky actor continued filming for the movie.
Hrithik also learned horse riding at Mahalaxmi race course. Every day, he went to the race course at 7 a.m. to take his riding lessons. One day, he accidentally fell down from the horse while his leg caught in the stirrup. The horse ran a distance abrading Hrithik against the ground. Fortunately, Hrithik was not severely injured. He had few bruises and he continued the lesson. Not only that, he even attended his sword fighting class in the evening. According to Hrithik, falling from a horse could be extremely disastrous but he had escaped with few bruises. He believes that his passion for acting had turned many mountain-like problems into pebbles. Last but not the least, the blessing of his fans always kept up his spirit.
