According to the report of TimesNow.TV, while composing the music of Jodha Akbar,
the crew tried three different directions. Finally, they allowed the music to take its own course.

Designer Neeta Lulla designed Aishwarya Bachchan's sari and Hrithik Roshan's armor for the movie. She did a month long research to design Hrithik Roshan’s armor. The helmet Hrithik wore in the movie was adorned with expensive stones. On the other hand, Aishwarya Bachchan’s sari contained zardozi works and embroideries.

For shooting one song, Ashutosh spent Rs. 5 million. The song required 350 dancers.

UTV, the producer of Jodha Akbar, is going to release the movie in 26 countries.

Ravi Dewan directed the action sequences of Jodha Akbar. Ravi and Ashutosh worked together in Ashutosh Gowariker’s debut movie, Pehla Nasha. For this movie, Ashuthosh gave him full creative liberty. Ravi did action doubles for actors like Dilip Kumar, Dharmendra and Dara Singh.

For Jodha Akbar, Ashutosh Gowariker took a lot of time to search the villain. The shooting of the movie was delayed for one month since Ashutosh could not find the actor. He auditioned actors for many days in his office and Mehboob Studio. As villain, Ashutosh was looking for such an actor who would complement Hrithik Roshan’s height and physique.

While shooting Jodha Akbar, cinematographer Kiran Deohans irritated Ashutosh Gowariker with his slow work. Though he was slow, he was a perfectionist. 

You all know about Hrithik Roshan’s peculiar perfume habit. Through out the shooting of a particular movie he wears the same perfume and then another perfume for another movie. Before wearing his costumes, Hrithik always makes sure that the perfume gets dry.

The food provided on the set of Jodha Akbar was of very good quality. Hrithik Roshan, Poonam Sinha and many other actors used to bring their foods from home. Hrithik used to take salad and health foods and Poonam Sinha brought delicious Sindhi Kadhis, suji ka halwa and gulab jamuns. Aishwarya Bachchan on the other hand ate foods that were offered on the set. She did not take too much food. Every body looked forward to the lunch hour after shooting with heavy make up and costumes.
