Ahead of the Twenty20 World Cup 2007, India’s main problem seems to be their bowling. India’s recent bowling performance is really very poor. So, it is a major concern for India at this moment. In the ongoing ODI series against England, no Indian bowler could impress yet. So, if Indian bowlers can not retain their form before the start of Twenty20 world cup 2007 then I cannot be optimistic regarding India’s success in Tweenty20 world cup.

However, the good news is that two experienced bowlers Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh have made it to the Twenty20 squad. Harbhajan Singh played many international matches for India. So, his experience will help India during the tournament. Irfan Pathan has been out of the team since after the ICC world cup.

It is true that Batting is India’s main strength. However, without the support from their bowlers it is not possible to take the best out of it. So, Indian bowlers have to be up to the mark if India wants something special from Twenty20 World Cup 2007.
