Many people of Nepal work in the Middle East and many of them work in UAE. The number of Nepalese people coming to work in UAE is not decreasing. So, there is a market for the airlines and Etihad Airways has started its operation in this market.

Kantipur Online reported:

Etihad Airways, the national airlines of the United Arab Emirates, Sunday launched its service in Nepal, operating four flights a week from Abu Dhabi to Kathmandu.

In a press release posted in its website, Etihad has said it is operating a two cabin Airbus A330-200 configured to carry 262 passengers, with 22 in business class and 240 in economy.

Already, the flight has become popular and most of the seats for the next few weeks in the economy class have been booked in advance.
