Aap Ka Suroor- The Real Love Story turned Himesh Reshammiya into a star but what about Hansika Motwani? Wasn’t her presence a crucial factor for the film? Yes, it was but she did not get her share of praise. Anyway, it does not matter because Hansika has caught the attention of the movie makers and now she is going to be paired up with another older actor, Govinda. She is also going to work in another South Indian movie, Kantri.
Money Hai Toh Honey Hai will be directed by famous choreographer, Ganesh Acharya. His debut movie as director, Swami, was released earlier this year. Starring Juhi Chawla, Manoj Bajpai, the movie did not do very well but it did not dampen Ganesh’s spirit. His upcoming movie Money Hai Toh Honey Hai is based on true story. The movie tells the story of six people who have been losers all their lives but for once they get the big opportunity and earn name and fame. Hansika plays the character of an aspiring TV actress. Since, Hansika started her career in TV serials as a child artiste, Ganesh thinks that she is very suitable for the role.
For her role in this moviem,Ganesh and Kumar Mangat told Hansika that she would have to lose weight and like a true professional, Hansika gave into their demand. She trained under instructor Mickey Mehta and lost eight kilos. Aside from doing regular exercise and dieting, Hansika is doing yoga to remain fit and healthy.
The other movie, Kantri, will be produced by C Aswanidutt under the banner of Vyjayanti Movies. Jr. NTR and Hansika Motwani will play the lead characters. The movie will be launched on October 21st at
I do not know readers but I am getting a feeling that Hansika is gradually becoming salvager of older heroes in Bollywood. In her debut Hindi movie, she was paired up against Himesh Reshammiya but did not get any credits for her performance. Let’s hope history does not repeat in her upcoming movies.
