This November, everything will have to be in the back stage in India. It will be the classic competition between Bollywood and Cricket in India in November 2007. For many years, Indian people are crazy about Bollywood stars and that is why Bollywood has emerged as the second largest place for movies after Hollywood. On the other hand, Indian people are even crazier for their cricket and they love nothing more than their cricket team becoming world champion.

Diwali is the largest festival in India and Diwali will be celebrated this November. Two big budget movies, Saawariya and Om Shanti Om will be released on Diwali. These two movies are expected to do very well in the box office. Thousands (if not millions) of people are expected to go to the cinema halls for these two movies.

As for cricket, Pakistan is coming to India to play ODI and Test matches. Nothing can be bigger than the India-Pakistan rivalry in cricket. Every ODI match in this series is expected to be a sell out. Millions of people will be glued in front of their TV sets in the match days.

So, this November, Indian people are really going to witness a big fight between Bollywood and Cricket. Millions of dollars are at takes. Winner will not take all but will surely take the lion’s share.
