India and Pakistan are going to start their ODI series from next week. The first ODI match will take place on 5 November 2007. Indian fans want their team to win this match. Last month, Indian team defeated Pakistan in the final match of Twenty20 World Cup 2007. So, Indian fans want nothing but victory in the ODI series.

Indian selectors have announced the squad for the first two ODI matches only. Rahul Dravid was excluded from the team and it shocked many people.

The players are:

Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Murali Kartik, Zaheer Khan, R P Singh, Irfan Pathan, S Sreesanth and Praveen Kumar.
