Fake Million Dollar Bill and $59 Million Real Birthday Gift

Million (US) dollar is a lot of money. It is an amount of money that most people in the world even don’t dream of earning this amount in their entire life. So, if some one comes to a bank to open an account with a million dollar bill then the bank workers would get surprised. Well, Alexander D. Smith is 31 years old. I would not call him a fool but I wont call smart either. I really don’t know what he was thinking about. It is natural that anyone would take a look about a million dollar bill.

USA Today wrote:

Never has been a $1 million bill. The largest U.S. greenback ever was $100,000 back in the 1930s.

This is quite amusing that there is no million dollar bill. It clearly indicates that Alexander D. Smith did not do any kind of research when he wanted to present a fake million dollar bill to the bank.

AHN wrote:

WSAV reported that according to Aiken County Sheriff spokesman Lt. Michael Frank, Smith will be charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of forgery. The AP added that the second charge of forgery was after it was discovered that Smith purchased several cartons of cigarettes using a fake check.

Lt. Frank made it clear that the U.S. government has never printed a million dollar bill.

When I read the story of fake million dollar bill then the story of $59 Million Birthday Gift came to my mind. It was a real story. I wrote about it a few days ago. It happened in India.

It is perhaps the most expensive birthday gift given by any Indian to his wife. Of course, Mukesh Ambani is not an ordinary Indian man. In fact, he is the richest man in India now. So, he gave a jet plane to his wife the price of which was nearly $59 million dollar and that was real money.

I wonder what led Alexander D. Smith to present a fake million dollar bill? Is he insane or evil?
