India vs Pakistan 2007: Pakistan Wants More Tickets

With few days to go before the much awaited India vs Pakistan series 2007, cricket fans of Pakistan are becoming unhappy as BCCI has confirmed only 250 tickets per match for Pakistan fans. Though PCB asked BCCI to give 2000 tickets for their fans who are interested to enjoy the matches staying in the stadiums, BCCI responded with the assurance of 250 tickets for the Pakistan fans. Besides, Indian government has made it difficult for the Pakistani fans to get the visas without having a ticket. So, those who have the tickets will easily get the visas to travel to India.

The Hindu reported:

“We had asked them to allocate around 2000 tickets for each match but till now they have assured us only 250 tickets for Pakistani spectators who can purchase the tickets through us,” he said…..

“The visas are easier to get if you apply with a ticket in hand. But we are still awaiting a firm response from the Indian board,” he said.

Pakistani fans are keen to travel to India as three of the five one-day internationals are to be staged in Mohali which is easier to get to from Lahore and in Kanpur and Jaipur which are close to Delhi.

The visa and ticket problems were seen in past India vs Pakistan cricket series as well. Now, it seems that these problems are going to become a part of India-Pakistan series. Both BCCI and PCB can come under a deal to solve this problem so that the cricket loving fans of these two countries do not face any such problems in future. India vs Pakistan ODI series will start from 5 November. India and Pakistan will face each other in five ODI and three Test matches in this series.

India vs Pakistan ODI series will be held on 2007. So many Pakistan cricket fans will want to go India. The supporter will not go to India in huge number, because the Indian gov. has imposed some restriction on coming to India. Before it the same problem was faced the Indian fans. I expect that this kind of Problem will be solved in this series.
