Jodhaa Akbar: Some latest news (1)

Finally: Jodhaa Akbar shooting ended
It was a major disappointment for all the Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Bachchan fans when Ashutosh Gowariker postponed the release date of Jodhaa Akbar in the first place; more over, legal issues with the Rajput community, People for Animal (PFA) and Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI), Aishwarya Bachchan’s marriage and hectic shooting schedule, created further problems.

Hrithik Roshan in Jodha Akbar

Despite all the problems, Ashutosh has made it. The shooting of Jodhaa Akbar finally ended on time without experiencing any major setbacks. On 12th October, the theatrical trailer was released and the music launch will take place on 27th November. The shooting of the movie completed with the completion of the shooting of a song. Apun Ka Choice reports:

Titled “Azeem O Shah, Shahenshah”, the song featured about one thousand dancers in traditional costumes, wielding swords and shields.

Given the enormous scale of the song, the choreographers – Rekha and Chinni Prakash – had a tough task of choreographing and coordinating the dance movements of so many dancers.

Ashutosh was very much impressed with the dedication of the dancers. He went on judging the best dancer in each troupe and awarded them with cash prize. The dancers were very much surprised when they received the award.

Actor Hrithik Roshan got very emotional on the last day. He talked with the crews. The actor spoke to the owner of "Chandni," the horse he rode for the movie. For his role, Hrithik had to learn horse riding. He went to the Mahalaxmi race course and practiced with Chandni, a white stallion. To build good rapport with the horse, Hrithik even fed Chandni. Now, after many days when it was time to say good-bye, Hrithik got very emotional. He requested the owner to take good care of the horse.

Jodhaa Akbar: Is Aishwarya Bachchan responsible for the postponement of Jodhaa Akbar?
Aishwarya Bachchan requested Ashutosh Gowariker to postpone the release date of Jodhaa Akbar. What is the reason? She wants to Sarkar Raaj to be released before Jodhaa Akbar. India Times reports:

The source further added saying, “Ash was heard requesting Ashutosh Gowariker to postpone the release of Jodhaa Akbar as she wanted Sarkar Raaj to release first, owing to it being her first film with her family (Abhishek and Amitabh) post her marriage. However Ashutosh wasn’t fine with the idea as the producers of the film weren’t okay with its further delay. Jodhaa was supposed to be released this Diwali! Moreover UTV wanted to stick to the release date of January 25 for Jodhaa Akbar since its the same day when Rang De Basanti released in 2006 and got a lot of acclaim to the banner”.

Sarkar Raaj is the sequel of Ram Gopal Verma’s 2004 hit movie, Sarkar. Abhishek Bachchan and his father, Amitabh Bachchan, played the central characters in the movie. For his performance, Abhishek Bachchan was awarded Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award and Zee Cine Award.
