Ahead of the final competition of Miss World 2007 to be held on 1^st of December, Miss Malaysia World 2007 Deborah Priya Henry is now one of the most favorites to win the title according to major betting sites. Gambling911.com ranks her third in the list of top contestants of Miss World 2007. Paddy Power, another popular betting site, has placed her higher than Miss USA and Miss China. Deborah Priya Henry has link to Ireland as her mother came from Ireland.

Deborah was an active participant in sports from her school days. She even won the “Sportswoman of the Year” title at school. She has initiated a charity titled ‘Open Door’. In her 21^st birth day she requested her friends to donate for the charity instead of bringing gifts for her.

Deborah is a fashion model with a B.A. degree in Economy and Political Science from the University of Brisbane. She was born in Dublin and grew up in Kuala Lumpur,her mother is Irish and father Indian with roots in Australia.

She is a keen sportswoman, playing volleyball and basketball, gained a gold medal in the Kuala Lumpur International schools athletic meet and received a “Sportswoman of the Year” trophy at school.

Miss Malaysia has founded a charity called “Open Doors” and at her twenty-first birthday party she asked her friends to make donations to “Open Doors” instead of bringing presents and was gratified by how much they raised. Deborah enjoys travelling, listening to music, reading, volleyball and cooking, creating dishes using Thai, Indian and Moroccan spices.

So, you see that Deborah Priya Henry has strong Indian connection. Well, in my previous entry, I mentioned that Miss India 2007 Sarah-Jane Dias is not a hot favorite in Miss World 2007. So, if Deborah Priya Henry wins the title of Miss World 2007 then Indian fans will perhaps have something to celebrate too. 

No doubt, Deborah Priya Henry is now one of the strongest contenders of Miss World 2007 title. This pale skinned girl has strong possibility to win the title.
