Nepal normally makes the media headlines because of its political instability. So, it gives me a lot of delight to see that Nepalese government had recently honored some of the leading businessmen in the country. In fact, recently, Nepalese government honored 33 top businessmen as Commercially Important Person (CIP).

The Nepal Government on Wednesday awarded 33 leading exporters, international importers and heads of private sector institutions, according them with the status of Commercially Important Person (CIPs).

Awards were given away by Krishna Prasad Situla, who is designated to look after Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply. CIPs also received a two-year pass that enables them to avail special state facilities like the use of CIP lounge at Tribhuvan International Airport.

This will surely encourage the businessmen to try more their own business. I just want that Nepalese government do some more for the business community. Because of political turmoil, the private companies are suffering.
