Akbar Jodhaa: wrong title
The title of Ashutosh’s movie is not Akbar Jodhaa but Jodhaa Akbar. Many people search about the movie over internet using the name Akbar Jodhaa. It is not right. What is the reason behind such naming? According to Ashutosh Gowariker, in the east, ladies come first. For example, LAILA MAJNU, HEER RANJHA, SOHNI MAHIVAL. On the otherhand, in west it is ROMEO AND JULIET, ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA.The interesting thing about the movie is that while showing the love relationship between a Mughal Emperor and a Rajput princess, Ashutosh also showed the meeting of two different cultures and religions to gain political goals. If you notice carefully you will see that in the title of the movie Jodhaa is written in Hindi script and Akbar is written in Urdu script.

Jodhaa Akbar: Audio launch on 25th January
First it was 27th November. Now, the word on the net is that the audio launch of Jodhaa Akbar will be on 25th January. Big Music acquired the audio rights of Jodhaa Akbar. Earlier, news came out that two songs have been removed from the music album to keep the length of the movie within three hours but according to the latest news, director Ashutosh Gowariker denied the claim. Ashutosh Gowariker started shooting of the movie started on November 6th 2006. The theatrical promo was released in October and the first poster of the movie was released in August.

Jodhaa Akbar: Hrithisk Roshan spent Rs.6 million to pay helicopter fare
It seems unbelievable but believe it. Hrithik Roshan, the top Bollywood actor paid Rs. 6 million for helicopter fare. As you all know Jodhaa Akbar was shot at N.D. Studio in Karjat. From Mumbai, it took three hours to reach the shooting location by road. This would have taken up lot of time. Besides, Hrithik wanted to spent time with his son Hrehaan. So he decided to hire a helicopter to fly to Karjat. It used to take only 10-15 minutes to reach the shooting location. According to a close source, UTV wanted to pay the helicopter fare but Hrithik did not accept the proposal. There are many Bollywood actors who even make their producers pay for their petrol while they come to shooting. Hrithik is definitely an exceptional figure.
