Just a week ago, I wrote: Bad Times for Nepal Airlines Corporation. It seems that the condition of Nepal Airlines has gone from bad to worse.

The bad news is that Nepalese Airlines is now suffering from different problems and it has been forced to stop international services for the time being.

Khaleej Times wrote:

Nepal’s state-run airline has suspended international services until January after its last working Boeing aircraft was sent for regular maintenance, an official said on Tuesday.

Nepal Airlines has only two planes — both Boeing 757s — for international flights.

One aircraft has been grounded due to engine problems for several months while the second needs to undergo routine maintenance.

The irony is that foreign airlines now consider Nepal to be an attractive market and the number of Airlines companies flying to and from Nepal has increased significantly in the last one year.
