Nepalese Exporters Worried about Insecurity

Nepal is a tough place to do business. Political conflict is a part of everyday life for the people in this country. Now, exporters are facing a number of problems. The value of US dollar has decreased significantly in the last 18 months. This is hurting Nepalese exporters. However, more than everything, insecurity is hurting them a lot. There is fear of labor unrest.

The businessmen are afraid of getting abducted. They are also afraid of their offices and factories getting attacked and looted. They are also worried about the safety of their workers. Needless to say that it is only hurting Nepalese export.

It seems that Nepalese government is doing little to remove the worry of the exporters. Well, it is an interim government and they are helpless too.
