Today was the second day of Australia vs India 4th Test 2008. They day did not belong to anyone. India started the day with 309 for five. Although they lost Dhoni and Tendulkar quickly, India managed to score 526 runs. This is surely an imposing total.
The day belonged not to Tendulkar but to captain Anil Kumble and Adam Gilchrist. Adam Gilchrist made a new world record as a wicket keeper. Anil Kumble batted valiantly and scored 85 runs. Tomorrow, Indian bowlers need to make Australia all out. Only then, India can dream of winning the fourth test. On the other hand, Australian batsmen need to score a lot of runs.
The third day’s play will begin with a few hours.
