Today was the first day of Australia vs India 4^th Test 2008. At the end of the first day, India scored 309 runs losing 5 wickets. India won the toss and Anil Kumble thought that it was a good pitch to bat first. Virender Sehwag scored 63 runs at the top but Irfan Pathan, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly got out cheaply. VVS Laxman provided good support to Tendulkar.

It was a special century from Tendulkar as India was under pressure from Australian bowlers. Tendulkar was not out 124. He played 10 boundaries and 3 sixes in his innings.

Well, there is little room for Indian fans to feel relaxed. Tomorrow is an important day. India must score more than 400 runs in the first innings. Anything less than that may not be helpful against Australia.
