The small car would be produced at the Singur plant in West Bengal. It would be launched in the market during the second half of the year.

"The car is powered by a 624 cc, 30 bhp engine. The car will deliver about 20 kmpl mileage," Ratan Tata, said at the launch function.

Tata Motors plans to launch the car in Africa, Latin America and also in SE Asia.
