Tata Nano: What about the Environment?

Tata Nano is in the media headlines now and many people are interested about the world’s cheapest car. This is a breakthrough in the auto industry- a $2,500 car. It will surely change the Indian auto market and I am sure that many families will be able to own the car for the first time when Tata Nano comes to the market. This is a ultra cheap car and Tata Motors will surely try its best to sell as many cars as possible to make profit. We know that more cars mean more environmental pollution and not everyone is too happy with the introduction of Tata Nano.

Telegraph wrote:

With car sales predicted to quadruple in India in the decade - 1,000 new cars enter the streets of the capital New Delhi every day - the Nano concept has come under fierce attack from environmentalists.

Outside the auditorium, activists from the environmental protest group Greenpeace held up banners calling for the world to tackle climate change and "CUT CO2" rather than build millions of ever-cheaper cars.

Sunita Narain, the head of Delhi's Centre for Science and Environment has called on the government to tax cars 'like crazy' to pay for a desperately needed upgrade to India's ailing public transport systems.

Well, I think that it will be a big dilemma for Indian government officials. Tata Nano has huge potential in terms of export and this will bring a lot of money for India. On the other hand, most Indian families still don’t own a car and Tata Nano would address this issue quite well. However, no one should take the issue of environment pollution lightly either.

Everyone hope to be the owner of a car. But it doesn't possible for many people because of high price and huge cost. Now, Tata Nano is going to sell world cheapest car in India and all over of the world as ever people can get benefit of auto car. But it has problem that more car make more smoke and smoke hurm the world. So, i hope government should take any steps about Tata Nano to keep the world safe.

Now the world has turned into the place of invention. In the age of capitalism people try to spend their money in different sectors. Tata is the largest companies in the India. It is their new achievement that they have produced a new car which will be available in cheap rate. It is very natural that now people can easy buy this car and in this way the number of users will be increased. As a result, this would affect on the environment. Yes, I am agreeing with you that it will be a big dilemma for Indian government. I think after producing this car the people became happier, who do not have their own cars. When this car will come in market may be people will buy this car.
It is true that we should stop environment pollution. I cannot understand that after producing Tata Nano everyone is starting to think about environment. There are lots of things which are already destroying our environment. We should think about this and Environmentalists should take step about those worst things, because we, the human beings are careless about our environment.
