The generation in Nepal is going to take place in April 10 2008. So, there is just 1 and a half month left. Around 17.5 million people can vote in the election. Of course, not everyone goes to vote in any country. Until now, 2,219 candidates have filed nominations and they are going to contest in 240 seats.

This is a good figure but I am worried for one thing. Things are not going well in the Terai region and if there any large scale violence in Southern Nepal during the election time then it can disrupt the election process. The main goal of this general election is to bring back democracy and peace in Nepal.
