Nepal is going to have general election on April 10, 2008. Unfortunately, most people in the country are not busy with election. Instead, they are worried for the return of political instability that plagued the nation for many years until April 2006. In April 2006, many people came to the street and forced the King to reinstate a parliament that he dissolved. Since then, there has been peace and stability in Nepal.  

Now, there is a new crisis in the country. The people in Southern Nepal are not happy and they have some particular demands about autonomy and more rights in the South. A political strike has paralyzed the economy. As a keen observer of Nepal, I am worried for the future of this country.
