When I saw this news in The Daily Start, I was surprised but very happy. Most people living in the rural areas in Bangladesh do not have access to banking facilities. Well, don’t think that everyone living in the rural areas are very poor. In fact, there are many wealthy farmers in many villages.

In the last two decades, thousands of people have gone to the Middle East and Malaysia to change their fortune. They send money to their families and relatives living in Bangladesh. The private commercial banks now want to make the best out of this flourishing market. I am very happy for this. I just wish that the private commercial banks provide more service and support to the people living in the rural areas of Bangladesh.
