I love 22 March. I was born in this day and thus, it is my birthday. At the same time, on 22 March 2006, I started professional blogging with this blog. So, it is the second birthday of SouthAsiaBiz (this blog). I am happy to inform you that this blog has achieved a lot in the last one year. In fact, in the last one year, this blog had over 2.5 million pageviews (that means 200,000 page views per month). In fact, in the next 2 days, SouthAsiaBiz is going to touch 3 million pageviews.

This is quite amazing and SouthAsiaBiz has really become one of the top blogs about South Asia. Now, SouthAsiaBiz has 2264 entries and received nearly 5000 comments in the last two years. Well, a lot of credit goes to my co-blogger Mehdi Hasan. I like to thank all the readers for their continuous support. I also like to express my gratitude to each and everyone who have linked our entries in their blogs, websites and forums. I am also grateful to all the Feed subscribers.

SouthAsiaBiz is a part of Know More Media Blog Network (they own the blog not me) and I do not own the blog. However, I feel some kind of emotional attachment to this blog and I like it more than any of my personal blogs.

We are happy with the way things have gone for this blog. We like to work harder this year and like to celebrate the next birthday of the blog in a bigger and better way.
