I am eagerly waiting for World Cup Cricket 2011 simply because it will be held in South Asia. Some of the matches will be played in my home city, Dhaka. So, many people here are eagerly waiting for this tournament. ICC has made some changes about the format of World Cup Cricket for 2011.

The main change is that the duration of the tournament will be 38 days. In 2007 World Cup Cricket, it was 47 days. There is another big change too. The number of participating countries has been reduced to 14 instead of 16. Well, I am happy with the first thing- 38 days but I am not happy with the second change. I think that instead of reducing the number of teams participating in World Cup, ICC should include more countries. This will help to create media attention in other countries. For example, I surely like to see China and USA taking part in World Cup Cricket 2011.
