Bottled water or popularly known as mineral water is a new phenomenon in Bangladesh. In fact, I can remember that a decade ago, very few people used to drink bottled water regularly. However, this has changed a lot in the last five years. Now, drinking bottled water has become almost a part of everyday life in Dhaka. This culture is spreading across other cities too. It is summer time and extreme heat has helped its business to flourish in the streets of Dhaka.
Now, in the markets of Dhaka you can have bottles of different brands. So, the companies who make this kind of water are enjoying a flourishing business. Of course, many consumers like me want that the bottled water becomes better. In fact, the price should go down a little bit.
