India and Switzerland are now trying to have a free trade agreement between them. There is optimism that this deal will come within one year. This is surely good news for both the countries. Switzerland is a very small but one of the richest countries in the world. On the other hand, India is the second largest country in the world. So, any free trade agreement between them would help both the economies.

Switzerland businessmen can look into investing India into several fields. I think, Swiss watch makers and bankers can target Indian economy and they can get a lot of benefit from India. On the other hand, India has now very big companies who are o expansion mood. Companies like Tata and Reliance can explore more in investing Switzerland. So, let us see the free trade agreement coming into existence between these two countries.
At this moment, the bilateral trade between these two companies is a bit more than $3 millions and one hundred Swiss companies are present in Indian market.
