I am sure that this news will give some comfort to many people in India. Indian people have been suffering from rising inflation in the last few months. The price of fuel in international market is increasing on a regular basis and this is bad for any country of South Asia. The price of food items have also increased sharply in India recently. So, the news that India may not need to import any wheat this season will come as a blessing for many Indians.
Indian government is hoping that the wheat harvest is going to be satisfactory and the government can obtain enough wheat from the farmers. Last year, Indian government needed to import some good amount of wheat. I just hope that the price of wheat does not increase in Indian market in the coming days.
