Call Center came as a great blessing for the educated people in India. This industry created thousands of jobs in Southern states. Indian workers provide support to US customers from the call centers situated in India. US companies sent call center jobs to this country to cut back on their cost. It seems that the blessing of having a job is becoming nightmare for many call center workers in India.
The first problem is of stress. Giving support to people of another country is never an easy job. The difference in accent of English language is something that perhaps has made the situation even worse. The second problem is that call center workers in India have to start their work from afternoon or evening and they sleep in morning. So, they hardly have any family life. The third problem is that they have to eat a lot of junk food and this causes weight gain and other complications.
