I agree with him. When I started blogging, I had little idea of getting visitors to my blog. So, in the first few months, I totally tired to get some visitors through social bookmarks. I got some decent amount of success in it as many of my entries got the blessing of Stumble Upon, Reddit, Fark etc. This boosted my ego and helped me try for my blogs. In fact, if I did not have “Silly Traffic” at the first 6 months of blogging then I would perhaps not continue blogging.
Most newbie bloggers have no idea about getting targeted traffic. Secondly, at the beginning of your blogging career, you will not have a big archive to get a lot of traffic. So, silly traffic is the next best thing and I love it.
