China and India are neighboring countries but these two neighbors do not have very good relationship. These days, both of them have changed a bit and are focused more on their own economic development rather than focusing on disliking each other. China has seen continuous tremendous economic growth for more than two decades now. India is a late comer compared to China.
I found an excellent article of William Pesek at Bloomberg: India Is Still the Tortoise, China Is the Hare: William Pesek. Here, he has talked about the problems that Indian economy is facing while trying to emulate continuous high economic growth of China. He has appreciated two things of China: political will to take decisive decisions and good infrastructure. William Pesek feels that India is lagging behind in these two things. For example, he has praised Indian Prime Minister and Finance Minister but William Pesek has also mentioned that these two ministers of Indian government cannot always act freely because they have to make balancing acts with the political leaders.
