Shane Warne was a very successful bowler. He took more than 700 test wickets. In IPL, he is the coach and captain of Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals today won the first semi final match and is now in the final of IPL. A lot of credit surely goes to Shane Warne for the success of Rajasthan Royals. He has contributed a lot both as the captain and as the coach. In fact, when the tournament started, very few people could predict that Rajasthan Royals would reach the final of IPL 2008.
The funny thing is that Shane Warne was never a captain or a coach in Australia. Sydney Morning Herald has an interesting report about it. May be, Australian cricket officials should now think of Shane Warne as a possible candidate for the coach of Australian cricket team for future.

No doubt, Shane Warne was the best bowler of his time. But cricket fans first saw him as captain cum coach in the IPL to lead his team Rajasthan Royals and set them in the final round. Now, i also appreciate the reporter that Australian cricket officials should think of him as the new coach of Australia team. And if he can do his job with success then no one can stop him from this position. Best wishes to you 'Shane Warne'.
